Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Wedding Date?

The Wedding will be held on Monday, September 29th, 2025. If you wish to join us for our casual pre-wedding dinner at our villa, you may want to arrive in Bali on Sunday (September 28th).

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Please RSVP online, as we need to collect some important Q&As from you regarding dietary requirements, etc. If you need assistance completing the RSVP online form, please reach out to the bride and groom.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP as soon as possible to help us better estimate adequate seating, catering, and dietary requirements with our suppliers and vendors. Although we understand it may take time for our guests to organise attendance/travel, please RSVP online by 28th August at the latest! Note that our suppliers/vendors have strict requirements and timeframes to work with, so last-minute RSVPS might be difficult to accommodate. And we don't want to miss you on the day, so RSVP as soon as possible!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Absolutely! If you aren't already bringing a partner and would like to attend with a date/friend, please let us know when you RSVP in advance, so we can ensure we have adequate seating/catering on the day.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes! When you RSVP online, please let us know how many children you are bringing and their ages so we can arrange their meals and dietary needs accordingly! If you are staying with us at the Ungasan, please let us know, so we can organise extra rollaway beds if needed.

What is the weather usually like in Bali?

In late September, Bali typically experiences warm, sunny weather, making it a pleasant time to visit for outdoor activities. Expect average temperatures between a low of 20°C and a high of 30°C. While it's considered the dry season, there's a chance of occasional rain showers.

What is the dress code/attire?

The attire is Semi-Formal (E.g. pictured above). This entails mid-length to full-length gowns or long flowy jumpsuits if you prefer luxe fabrics and statement jewellery. For our guests in suits, a blazer or suit jacket, a button-up shirt, well-fitting dress pants, dress shoes or loafers, and ties are optional. We encourage our guests to dress to impress!

Will there be a get-together before the wedding?

Yes! For guests arriving in Bali prior to the wedding day (Monday, September 29th), there will be a small informal Pre-Wedding dinner held on Sunday night (September 28th) at our Villa. Please contact the bride or groom to let us know if you are interested in joining us!

Will there be a Farewell Breakfast after the wedding?

Yes! If you are a staying guest at The Ungasan, you are welcome to join us for the complimentary breakfast the following morning (Tuesday, September 30th). If you are not a Ungasan hotel guest and would like to attend please contact the bride or groom as we will need to make an additional reservation for you!

Where is the wedding venue?

The Ceremony and reception will both be held at The Ungasan Clifftop Resort. For more information, check out our Venue & Itinerary section.

What time does the Wedding Ceremony start?

The Ceremony starts at 4.30 PM in our Villa Tamarama (above). We recommend that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement to allow time to find parking, locate the space, take in the views, and be seated.

When does the Ceremony conclude?

The Ceremony usually concludes one hour after commencement; thereafter, the South Lawn will be open to guests for Pre-Dinner Canapés and drinks.

When does the Reception start?

The Reception starts at approximately an hour after the conclusion of Pre-Dinner Canapés and drinks.

When does the wedding finish & where can I get transport?

The entire wedding event concludes at 11.00 PM sharp. Due to noise restrictions, we cannot extend the event any longer. So we recommend pre-booking your transport, shuttle, taxi, or rideshare around this time, as there isn't a taxi rank on the premises, and transport may limited around the area at that time!

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Yes, there will be private hotel-guest parking at the entrance of our villas, Villa Tamarama, Villa Ambar, and Villa Pawana (all next to each other). There will also be additional parking for our non-hotel-staying guests at the hotel's public parking lot.

Will you cater for food allergies/dietary requirements?

Yes absolutely! Please fill out all your dietary requirements when you RSVP online or let the Bride and Groom know in advance.

What drinks will be served at the wedding?

During the pre-dinner hour and the entire reception, a free-flowing selection of wines, local beers, and beverages will be available. This includes a choice of 2 signature cocktails, juices, soft drinks, and still or sparkling water.

Am I allowed to take photos/videos at the wedding?

Yes! We only ask that guests refrain from taking photos or reaching for their phones during our ceremony, as we'd like your full undivided attention. This also ensures our professional wedding photographer can get the best possible shots without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

We also kindly request that our guests wait to post any photos/videos on social media until the bride-groom has officially posted their first set of photos of the day, as we'd like to be the first to announce our marriage to the rest of our families/friends that couldn't attend.

What is our wedding hashtag for posting on social media?

If you could tag us using #teenyadamwedding we would love to see all of your photos and videos!

Will you have a Gift Registry?

The best gift is having your presence on our special day! However should you wish to buy us something, we’d greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon or house renovations.

Will there be an After-Party following the Reception?

There will be an after-party at the on-site Sundays Beach Club. Be warned, however, that it will require tackling a couple of flights of stairs and riding a cable car down the cliff, and may not be suitable if you have a knee injury or find climbing stairs challenging. So bring flat shoes!

How do I book accomodation at the wedding venue?

If you'd like to stay with us at The Ungasan, please contact either the bride or groom ASAP. We have limited availability and cannot guarantee a room. Please feel free to check out our other nearby recommendations in the Hotel & Stays section.

Can I book additional nights of accommodation at The Ungasan?

Unfortunately, we only have the on-site villas booked exclusively on Sunday and Monday (28th and 29th September). However, you may be able to book additional nights by reaching out to The Ungasan directly. Note that the same room is not guaranteed as entire villas are usually exclusively booked out for weddings.
